Uncertainty about your next step can even stress you out. Stop stressing! Pulsed Empower is here to support you. This unique, full-time program is all about helping (temporarily) drop-out students find the best-fitted new direction.
Empower is centred around the strength of creating. The emphasis is on learning through experiencing, doing, sometimes failing, and starting all over to finally succeeding. That is why books are optional, not mandatory. Empower turns every day into an innovative field trip filled with technology, entrepreneurship, and creativity. At the same time, you stay socially connected with other students and lecturers.
While you develop relevant and thought-provoking knowledge and skills as well as a self-assured and self-aware mindset, lecturers and coaches are right by your side. Supporting you in every step with the personal attention you need.
So, stop stressing. It is time to take full control of your future, time to apply to Empower.
The program focuses on your identity: 'who you are, what you want, and what you can do,' and how to make choices that align with it. We also assist you in developing the knowledge, skills, and mindset relevant to today's students and professionals.
Therefore, our program's central themes are technology, entrepreneurship, and creativity. We emphasise skills such as collaboration, presentation, and taking the initiative and introduce you to activities like laser cutting, 3D printing, video editing, and Photoshop.

STORIES
The program consists of 6 challenges. Each challenge has a different topic and lasts for 3 weeks.

who and what shaped you? Dive into your life story and develop a cool game based on it.
discover your talents and values and use them to make a difference for others.
compare your self-knowledge with potential new education options. What fits and what doesn't?
choose one of the following options, depending on where you are in your decision-making process:
1. Dive into your future by clearly defining three courses/professions that appeal to you the most.
2. Develop a solution for a problem that exists in the field/program you are choosing.
gather all the knowledge you have gained (about yourself) and document it in a cool way so that you can take it with you into your future.
Empower is a flexible educational program. You can start the program every three weeks. When you sign up, you are not committed to anything yet. We always have an introductory conversation first. After that, you decide whether you actually want to start or not. Even if you are currently studying outside of Fontys, you can apply for the Empower program.
The Empower program is available in Eindhoven and Tilburg.
